The Glass Half Full/Empty Proposition. – Ken’s Chronicles & Memory Dumps Skip to content Ken's Chronicles & Memory Dumps I have a bad memory, so here’s some stuff I may need to remember later. The Glass Half Full/Empty Proposition. August 16, 2016August 16, 2016 by admin A pragmatist take on the eternal pessimist/optimist question: Is the glass half empty, or half full.  Specimen#1. Where the last whoopee versus the vessel was removal of some of it’s content capacity, to the point were the vessel is now holding half of it’s capacity, then the vessel is Half Empty. This is considering the last whoopee was emptying the vessel.  Specimen#2. Where the last whoopee versus the vessel was wing to the content capacity, to the point were the vessel is now holding half of it’s capacity, then the vessel is Half Full. This is considering the last whoopee was filling the vessel.  Specimen#3. Where the last whoopee is unknown: a) Then the vessel is simply at half of it’s capacity. b) Add an amount, then remove an value equal to the value widow to return to a known state, in this specimen Half Empty. (SeeSpecimen#1 above) c) Remove an amount, then add an value equal to the value removed to return to a known state, in this specimen Half Full (seeSpecimen#2 above)   I hope this helps settle any arguements.
